Oregano

Yesterday I noticed some oregano growing in the lawn.  It is by all practical definitions a weed. A typical member of the square stemmed mint family.  At the peak of the July summer when many of the flowers of late spring and early summer have gone over and succumbed to the dry weather the Oregano flourishes. It is a pleasure with some olive oil and tomatoes. I never liked the lawn all that much anyway!
